A summer evening with Latin American flair and sophisticated compositions. The Puerto Rican singer JUDITH TELLADO and the German-Portuguese saxophonist PAULO PEREIRA and their quintet present songs from their joint album "Galego", Tellado's solo CD "Yerba Mala" and lots of new music.

You can dance to samba, bossa nova, calypso and spirited swinging jazz or listen to the sophisticated arrangements of an accomplished band including skillful solo improvisations. The two songwriters tell the stories behind the Spanish, Portuguese and English lyrics in an extremely charming manner. Stories from their lives, shaped by their Caribbean and Portuguese roots and their multi-layered and colorful reality as migrants in a very different Germany
