In the organizer's words:
The Bonn Youth Jazz Orchestra, under the direction of Thomas Heck & Thomas Kimmerle, consists of young musicians aged between 14 and 21 who enjoy jazz and especially big band jazz. Every year they put together a concert program. Rehearsals take place weekly outside of school vacations. Founded in 2013, the Youth Jazz Orchestra can already look back on many successful concerts in the Bonn area.
Pupils and young people show off their skills at the Pantheon - the all-important young jazz talent gets a stage!
