Julie Pavon - BORN WITH HEARTBREAK EUROPE TOUR

In the five years since her debut single "Herd Animals", Danish-Honduran singer and electronic artist Julie Pavon has moved in the depths of Copenhagen's underground scene - with occasional bursts into the spotlight through surprise single releases or a "physically unforgettable" (Soundvenue) live performance.

Early tracks like "Jealous", "Herd Animals" and "Don't Call Me Out" quickly created her signature style, an "explosive mix of passionate lyrics and club-ready beats" (DJ Mag). At the same time, Pavon dedicated herself to exploring new sounds and forms of expression to capture what fascinates her most: the tension between ecstasy and pain that characterizes being young today.

In 2023, she released the EP "Watch Her Dance", which combined catchy, sample-based beats with a modern, simultaneously sparse and dark sound. Now, Pavon pushes the dark further with her first full-length album, unveiling an epic electro-tragic work. Gone are the carefree DIY deep house grooves - "Born With Heartbreak" is intense, restless and existential. Julie Pavon's emotionally charged vocals race through a variety of style references, from trance and rave to electroclash, industrial and indie metal.

Together with producer Oliver Orssten, Pavon has created the album's multi-layered sound - an aesthetic that can be described as a dark alternative to hyper-pop bubblegum pastiche, with genre boundaries dissolving into a single, nocturnal-metallic stream of sound. Pavon himself describes the album as "a raw, immediate and uncompromising force." She says of the artistic vision behind "Born With Heartbreak": "I want to capture moments of pure, unfiltered emotion. Contrasts and duality attract me in my work - just as they define my life. Ecstasy and fear. The free scream. Being myself, without compromise - and finding my strength in that."

Julie Pavon has announced her European tour for March 2026, which will follow the album release, with dates in Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark.
