On August 25, JUNKYARD OPENAIR celebrates the end of the festival season with a day full of good vibes, fun and a newcomer:inside line-up at its finest:

Lena&Linus, Zartmann and JOLLE are among the hottest German breakthrough stars of 2024 - the three acts' collective bubble meets perfectly in indie, pop and rap.

Uncomplicated and chilled, the small, fine open-air event takes place in the alternative cultural center on the site of a former scrap yard in the north of Dortmund. The urban Ruhr area flair ensures that the atmosphere remains relaxed, but still edgy and underground - the JUNKYARD site is the perfect size for an insider tip rating and invites you to hang out with friends, the chosen family and good music. A day of escape, departure and music ranging from dreamy-emotional to powerful party fun.

LENA&LINUS

With their 2023 EPs "Fühlst du dich allein?" and "Sekundenschlaf", the duo made the step into the next league: their emotional songs speak to Gen Z from the soul and instantly make you fall in love, their honest nature is hugely celebrated. Their first headlining "Sekundenschlaf Tour 2024" was almost sold out, and while they are already regular guests at major festivals (Deichbrand, Puls Open Air, Stadt ohne Meer, Das Ding About You Pangea), this is the opportunity to experience the duo up close and unfiltered. Plus point intimate atmosphere!

ZARTMANN

2024 is so his year: the Berlin boy is really taking off, his urban indie rock is going through the roof. Both his own open air in Berlin's Æden for the release of his smash hit single "Rotkäppchen" and his mini headliner tour "Einmal Hamburg und zurück 2024" were completely sold out. ZARTMANN sets an incredible pace behind and on stage: His shows are demolition with cancelation, there is dancing, partying and no shortage of endorphins. While he is also invited to big stages such as Superbloom or the Reeperbahn Festival, he is at his most energetic when he can catapult himself directly into the crowd. And the time is: here!

JOLLE

JOLLE took her first steps in the music business in 2022 and was signed by the award-winning all-female label 365XX in 2023. No wonder, her output sounds scorching hot: her rap-influenced sound is neither afraid of pop nor confined by genre boundaries. JOLLE perfectly captures the nuances of human emotions and therefore builds rough urban and ski aggu-infused club tempo beats. And everything is extremely approachable in the German-language lyrics. Their debut EP "Diffus" was released at the end of 2023, and JOLLE '24 followed up with two more singles, "Parisienne" and "Laster (fest. Wurms)". Definitely one of the hottest newcomer topics!
