Ecco Meineke, Munich's insider tip cabaret artist (ex-Lach- und Schieß), presents his nutrition plan program "Das Thema ist gegessen" at the Hoftheater. It is about one of the most important topics: Our food. The focus is on a city dweller who stubbornly refuses to learn how to cook. What farmers have to mock about city dwellers - here it is celebrated!
We all eat. It can be quite simple. You go to the fast food restaurant. That's it.
Or you see something and buy it.
Some even cook something.
Not Menke!
Because Menke has no idea and it's all too exhausting for him.
He considers the seemingly two-kilometer-long refrigerated rows of dairy products in supermarkets to be a bottomless imposition. His fridge is largely empty.
Except for a few prehistoric exhibits whose best-before date is no longer legible.
In view of climate change, it's fair to doubt that there are seasons!
No matter: food is definitely there. Must be.a
Many packaging photos of ready meals remind him of something.
Is what's on the outside actually inside? Never mind.
If it tastes like something? It always does...
But one day his ambition gets the better of him and, as you can imagine, it goes very wrong!
