In the organizer's words:

"We are the theater that can use everyone! Everyone is welcome!" When Karl Rossmann meets the traveling ensemble of the Naturtheater at the end of his trip to America, he hopes he has finally found his place. But the casting process is long, the rehearsal director choleric and while everyone around him seems to know exactly who they are or what they are doing, this world remains a strange one for Karl. Inspired by the eerie worlds of filmmaker David Lynch and texts by Franz Kafka, set and costume designer Vanessa Rust and her team deal with nightmares and create a space that seems to function according to its own rules. Kafka's Nature Theater of Oklahoma is dedicated to the humorous side of the author Franz Kafka, who has long been considered unwieldy and melancholy - a playful evening, musical and full of comedy close to the abyss.
The director is usually the linchpin of a production and usually also puts together the artistic team. As part of the Kosmos series, one artistic director who is not a member of the directing team is given a position on the program each season.
