The black-and-white film inspired by old slapstick comedies about a distiller who wants to kill as many beavers as possible to win the favor of a merchant's daughter.

19th century, in the Midwest of the USA. When his farm explodes, successful apple brandy merchant Jean Kayak decides to try his hand as a fur trapper! With his ingenious traps, he takes up the fight against vicious raccoons and intelligent, man-sized beavers. But when he falls in love with the daughter of a fur trader, his father-in-law demands a high bride price: Jean is to deliver beavers to him, hundreds of them! The only problem is that the beavers are much smarter than the inexperienced fur hunter...

For the 15th time, Cinema & Kurbelkiste and Hawerkamp 31 e.V. are presenting the popular cinema nights with exquisite arthouse gems, the finest entertainment and one or two surprises in the charming atmosphere of Münster's most beautiful industrial wasteland. Every Thursday from the beginning of July to the beginning of September!

Here is the most important information for you:
- Tickets are available online, at the Cinema box office and at the Box Office
- Admission 10.00 euros, reduced 8.00 euros, solidarity ticket 12.00 euros
- The venue is barrier-free. Unfortunately there is no barrier-free toilet.
- Tickets cannot be canceled unless we cancel the event. We also play in bad weather and rain.
- Admission and barbecue from 8 pm, movie starts at dusk.
Bring your own barbecue food and crockery. This way we can save on paper plates and cutlery and do something good for the environment. The Kamp team will provide hot grills and sauces. There will be a grill for vegan & vegetarian sausages etc. and one for meat-based grilled food.
- As always, the Sputnikhalle will provide you with drinks at fair prices
