The Kapellos around Opa, Siepe, Ficken Schmidt and Gazelle are once again celebrating their big end-of-year concert called KAPELLE WINTA at the FZW. It can be assumed that the show will be sold out again, so please take advantage of the advance booking.

Kapelle Petra is a German indie rock band from Hamm/Westphalia, consisting of Opa (vocals, guitar), Der tägliche Siepe (bass) and Ficken Schmidt (drums). The ensemble is joined live by the stage sculpture Gazelle and multi-instrumentalist Ole. Their hometown is the title of the studio album released in January 2024, which made it to number 6 in the "Official German Album Charts". "For many, it's the small, gray mouse on the edge of the Ruhr area, where you only ever change trains at the station. For us, Hamm is the center of the world - this is where we all grew up and this is where the HAMM songs were written. It all started here and hopefully will continue for a long time to come.

The album release will be accompanied by numerous concerts, headlining shows and festival appearances. The spring tour ́24 was the most successful tour in the band's history to date, with many concerts being rescheduled and the majority of clubs reporting sold-out tickets.

Kapelle Petra has released eight studio albums in over two decades and can look back on TV appearances (Ina's Nacht, various Joko&Klaas shows or Pufpaff's Happy Hour several times), numerous successes (sold-out tours, two albums in the "Official German Charts"), curiosities (the video for "Geburtstag" has been viewed well over 4.5 million times on YouTube) and major appearances (festivals such as "Open Flair", "Taubertal" and "Rock am Ring").
