Kapelle Petra: For some just a train station, for others the center of the world
Kapelle Petra is a German-language indie rock trio from Hamm/Westphalia, consisting of Opa (voc, g), Der Tägliche Siepe (b) and Ficken Schmidt (dr). The ensemble is joined live by the stage sculpture Gazelle. The band has already released seven studio albums, celebrated its 21st anniversary in 2018 on a major anniversary tour and can look back on numerous successes (current album "Nackt" cracked the top 50 of the album charts), curiosities (the video for "Geburtstag" has been viewed well over 4 million times on YouTube) and major appearances (festivals such as "Open Flair", "Taubertal" and "Rock am Ring" or TV appearances on various Joko&Klaas shows or Pufpaff's "Happy Hour"). They can also stream: they have already graced playlist covers (including Spotify's "Klare Kante") and their songs have been streamed almost 15 million times.
We are looking forward to seeing true indie rock veterans who will be paying a musical tribute to their beloved hometown with the presentation of their latest album "Hamm" on Thursday, March 27, at Centralstation.
