KAPmeets Beethovens Tripelkonzert

In the organizer's words:

"You can unabashedly look forward to what follows!" wrote Clara Schumann about her three Romances, with which Finnish conductor John Storgårds demonstrates his creative flair for programming right from the start. As chief conductor of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and celebrated guest conductor with major international orchestras, he delights audiences with his rousing yet refined performances.

For the first time, he meets the KAP and combines music from his Nordic homeland with Ludwig van Beethoven's impressive "Triple Concerto". The three soloists Antje Weithaas, Marie-Elisabeth Hecker and Martin Helmchen know each other well - certainly an advantage when Beethoven encourages musical dialogues, discussions and entertaining and imaginative phrases in his work.
