KAPmeets Golda Schultz & Antonello Manacorda

In the organizer's words:

Antonello Manacorda was Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the KAP from 2010-2025, and from this season he will be the orchestra's Honorary Conductor. Among other things, the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is at the heart of their collaboration, and with great success: Manacorda and the KAP received an OPUS KLASSIK as "Orchestra of the Year" for the recording of Mozart Symphonies Nos. 39-41, and the recording with Golda Schultz ("Mozart, you drive me crazy!"), in which the soprano approaches the female characters in Mozart's Da Ponte operas, was nominated for the German Record Critics' Best List. Schultz, Manacorda and the KAP are now bringing excerpts from both recordings to the stage together for the first time.
