Julia von Miller sings and narrates her way directly into the dark mouth of the German entertainment volcano and brings to light the subtle, the absurd and the universal. Her specialty: the German swing of the 20s, 30s and 40s.

Light muse, deep sadness, kitsch, rapture and propaganda - masterfully captured in music and language and all of it ridiculously frighteningly topical. It's about people. Women, men, composers, lyricists, feminism, opportunism, freedom, cheekiness, love and madness. It's about music, good humor and despair. It's all or nothing. And if you find yourself spinning upside down on your own axis, that's perfectly appropriate, because these are capers!

Julia von Miller

The singer, presenter and actress is considered an entertainment institution in Munich. Among other things, she fronts Los Poppos, sings with the Odeon Dance Orchestra and is a member of the HippieKammerOrchester. Together with the writer Anatol Regnier, she also creates incomparable programs about German history.
