Sim Salabim, the rabbit Jim! The animals are waiting for their grand entrance in the black hat of the famous magician Mogel-Strauss. Including Jim Salabim the rabbit. But it's so terribly cramped in this hat! Jim decides to escape - with a horde of chicks in tow who want to get some fresh air. Of course, the wizard doesn't find this funny at all. He chases after them. It's a good thing his helpers, the pigeons Pick and Nick, aren't quite so clever and Jim has nibbled off a piece of the magic wand... Will he manage to catch them again?

After "Cowboy Klaus", Karsten Teich has a new series hero at the start with the cheeky rabbit. He will tell us about his first two adventures - and draw them live, of course! What fun!

Karsten Teich was born in Hannoversch Münden in 1967 and studied at the Kunsthochschule in Kassel. He later drew for magazines and daily newspapers. Today he illustrates and writes children's books, many of which have won awards, including the Leipzig Reading Compass. He lives in Berlin.
