Kassettendeck w/ So Soon

Songs with captivating depth, impressive vocals in weightless harmony, coming of age in reverb. So Soon around multi-instrumentalists, songwriters and producers David Stöbener and Marco Braun create music that develops enormous size and power despite an impressionistic approach to sound design and storytelling. Indie pop and folk merge with electronica and post-rock to create a moving whole - both on the recordings and in rousing concerts with the full band. 2024 sees the release of Soon's debut in album format, accompanied by an extensive tour.

A format that can't be kept down celebrated its fourth comeback in 2023. After the start of the concert series in the Glashaus of the Mainz State Theater in 2012, further stops at Gebaeude27 and Planke Nord and the final move to the Altmünsterkirche, the "cassette deck" awoke from its coronavirus slumber after the pandemic. The Musikmaschine concert agency returned to the "Kultur-Kirche" with a total of four double dates. The program for the up to 300 visitors features bands from the singer-songwriter, indie and pop spectrum.

The address of the Altmünsterkirche is Münsterstraße 25, but the entrance is in Walpodenstraße (opposite number 23). From Münsterplatz, Bilhildisstraße leads in the direction of the Hilton Hotel. You can already see the church at the corner of Bilhildisstrasse, Münsterstrasse and Walpodenstrasse.

TICKET CONCEPT: We offer three prices and you decide for yourself which one you want / can afford. Nevertheless, there is free choice of seats, none of the three prices has advantages or disadvantages compared to the other two. The middle price + 5 euros applies at the Box Office.
