KAT FRANKIE is building on past successes and developing its B O D I E S project further. On December 3, the a cappella ensemble consisting of eight women is set to amaze Stuttgart's Liederhalle.

Last fall, KAT FRANKIE surprised, amazed, moved to tears and delighted audiences with her B O D I E S project. With her a capella ensemble, the show drew standing ovations. Reason enough to further develop B O D I E S and present them live once again.

While KAT FRANKIE had been incorporating purely vocal parts into her show for some time, the idea of performing an entire concert with only female voices grew in her mind. So she wrote the songs for the "B O D I E S" EP, which was released in 2020. This was followed by the first performance in the sold-out RBB Sendesaal in Berlin and four more, which made it clear to her that she was working on something big. And the sound is indeed a very special one: without instruments on stage, the eight-piece ensemble delivers an astonishing range of human emotions. Sometimes incredibly powerful, sometimes tender and thoughtful, KAT FRANKIE'scompositions range from passionate to playful. And then there is the sheer physical power of eight women in harmony.

"There are no instruments, which for some reason is incredibly liberating. When there are eight people on stage - eight bodies, eight voices and nothing else - the usual structures and expectations don't seem to apply. To be honest: I hardly think there's anything quite like it. I'm really looking forward to pushing the boundaries of what a vocal ensemble can do and developing things further. The resonance that eight voices can create together is unlike anything else. B O D I E S is a very special show and I can't wait for 2025," says KAT FRANKIE.
