For almost three decades, the melodic death metal band KATAKLYSM, based in the USA and Canada, has been tirelessly delivering powerful sounds all over the world. Most recently, the highly acclaimed 15th studio album "Goliath" was released in 2023.

After the release of the highly acclaimed album "Unconquered" in 2020, KATAKLYSM had more time than usual to work on the follow-up album. Normally, the band releases an album every two years, but this time they had the opportunity to develop the album over a period of three years. True to its name, "Goliath" is an aggressive and vicious album that was a product of its own unique obstacles. "There is a lot of anger in this record, but also a lot of darkness, it reflects the current mood in the world," comments Maurizio Iacono. "'Goliath' is an album that digs deep into the things that are happening on a global level and within society itself. Do you agree with everything you see?"
