Katapult Doppelshow – Rohmaterial #1

In the organizer's words:

Katapult is starting the year with an exciting new format: "Rohmaterial". Here, artistic productions are given the opportunity to perform in front of an audience at an early stage - raw, unpolished and full of potential.

The works presented are already conceptually and choreographically complete, some have already been performed in front of an audience, but have yet to premiere. They are fresh, lively and interested in the reactions of the audience - a unique dialog between art and spectators that continues to shape the creative process.

Every evening, we show two to three selected productions that have emerged from numerous submissions. The artists were selected in an open application process - their pieces are among the most promising and fit the innovative spirit of "Rohmaterial", a process that also provides the artists with a rehearsal space after the performance to take collected feedback into account in the creation process.

"Nemisu"

Two people walk towards each other and look at each other.
They don't yet know that this encounter will shape their lives.
They don't yet know that they will laugh together, catch each other, provide protection and security when the world seems to be falling apart at the seams.
They don't yet know that they will soon be putting their heads together and sharing secrets. That they will think up stupid things, argue and make up again.
They will lose sight of each other and find each other again, held together by an invisible bond. Because they share the most beautiful thing in life: Friendship.

"Nemisu" is a dance theater piece about friendship in all situations. With humor and sensitivity, the two dancers tell of a friendship that is far too often taken for granted.

Les balades perdues

Iris - a contemporary spectacle
about circus heroics and sweet suffering between us.
A haiku, a fragrance, tradition merges with the contemporary,
the everyday and the extraordinary interwoven in a tapestry of imagination.
A spark ignites amazement, a flash of lightning in public space.
In public places, artistry presents itself as poetry.
No rhyme, but a melody - Iris.
