Katapult is starting the year with an exciting new format: "Rohmaterial". Here, artistic productions are given the opportunity to perform in front of an audience at an early stage - raw, unpolished and full of potential.
The works presented are already conceptually and choreographically complete, some have already been performed in front of an audience, but have yet to premiere. They are fresh, lively and interested in the reactions of the audience - a unique dialog between art and spectators that continues to shape the creative process.
Every evening, we show two to three selected productions that have emerged from numerous submissions. The artists were selected in an open application process - their pieces are among the most promising and fit the innovative spirit of "Rohmaterial", a process that also provides artists with a rehearsal space after the performance to take collected feedback into account in the creation process.
Join us and support these new pieces by Berlin-based artists in their creative process.
We are very excited to present the first two shows for the evening of April 26th:
Nemisu - by Rebecca Dirler & Joy Luna Schenk Delgado
Iris - by Les blades perdues
