KATHA PAUER - "VERZEIH MIR" TOUR 2025

KATHA PAUER is embarking on her first headlining tour in 2025 - in March, she will be playing eight dates across Germany and as far as Vienna. All signs point to "Go!": With two EPs behind her and a passionate and compassionate community that wants nothing more than more KATHA PAUER live, KATHA's time has come to present her songs to fans as the main act on some of the most beautiful indie stages. She has paved the way there with a lot of love, openness, charm, talent and courage, as she takes her listeners into her life track by track. Next level, when the audience can now listen and watch in real life: KATHA PAUER brings the authentic songs and lyrics from "fühl halt mal" and "rückwärts auf dem Heimweg" to life on stage on the "verzeih mir" Tour 2025.

KATHA PAUER is the very personal solo project of Munich newcomer Katharina Pauer: sweet, cheeky and touching, self-confident and vulnerable at the same time. Her musical socialization between church choir, Jimi Hendrix and MTV has left its mark. Above all, influences from the American R'n'B sceneof the early 2000s - such as Destiny's Child, Beyoncé or Rihanna - continue to creep into KATHA'ssound, sometimes consciously, sometimes unconsciously.

KATHA gets off to an early and motivated start; YouTube karaoke quickly becomes more than just a leisure activity. She joins an artist collective in Munich, begins her first small pop experiments, gains experience with professional recording, tests an artist project under the name Kadie that is still in English and leaves Munich at the age of 20 to study in Vienna. With making music as her own comfort zone, she feels safe on stage. "Enjoying an unconscious state", she calls it, and anyone who has ever experienced the musician live will nod in the affirmative.

KATHA PAUER usually writes her lyrics directly in the studio, now in German, based on a feeling or thought. Her lyrics are personal, real and genuine, tangible and palpable. The songs are not mainly about big events, but rather about the seemingly mundane, which in its banality has a certain poetry and to which the musician gives space. The fact that fans empathize and find themselves in KATHA PAUER's songs is proven by a steadily growing loyal community and increasing streaming numbers. Numerous invitations from indie boys (Ennio, Jeremias) as support acts have been followed by bookings at renowned festivals such as MS Dockville, Sound of the Forest and PULS Open Air. The expected and simply logical consequence: the name KATHA PAUER is growing.

After her first EP "fühl halt mal" (2023), which was poppy, cheeky and light-hearted and earned the musician a respectable reputation in the indie scene, KATHA PAUER released the follow-up in September 2024:

"rückwärts auf dem Heimweg" is the name of the musician's second EP, in which she reflects on interpersonal relationships and her own self-image. Documented snapshots and private observations provide a consistent framework within which KATHA PAUER intimately and self-determinedly demonstrates how poetic a change of direction can sound. With titles such as "wenn ich ehrlich bin" and "heimweg", she shows a deliberate stylistic switch from EP number 1 to the second album and herself from a side that we could only guess at so far: soft, approachable and much slower.

With the sophomore EP, she sets a kind of recalibration moment: not only the world, but also people are increasingly at their limit, resources are exhausted before they can be replenished, and often all that is left at the end is a skid, completely without brakes and right into chaos. "Backwards on the way home" is processing, a turning inwards, a space full of intimacy and self-determination. However, the musician is not intimidated by the fact that this also includes encounters with insecurities and patterns that have already been abandoned.

On the contrary - KATHA PAUER speaks honestly about mental states. In doing so, she advances an important discourse and admits feelings that so many know but are rarely able, willing or allowed to communicate: Never being enough, feeling inferior, feeling unlovable. "That's the beauty of making music: I only realize what I actually want to say during the writing process, before that it's not tangible." She sings from her fans' hearts, as can be read in the personal and loving comments on her socials, in which KATHA PAUER honestly documents herself and her struggles.

Now the exchange continues in real life when KATHA PAUER meets her audience live - as a catching musician with her band on stage, but also as a friend in her lyrics and as a role model in her loud and quiet statements that touch the heart: KATHA PAUER in March 2025 on the "verzeih mir" tour!
