Dying - it's always the others who do it. The old perhaps, the sick. But what if death is closer than we think? And our lives are more imponderable than we think? Katja Lewina has known about her heart condition for two years and that it could cost her her life at any time. She was diagnosed shortly after the sudden death of her seven-year-old son. In 'What is forever?', Katja Lewina deals with the subject of mortality. Starting from
her own situation as a crystallization point for an experience that ultimately affects us all, she writes

Katja Lewina was born in Moscow in 1984 and studied Slavic studies as well as literature and religious studies. She worked as a freelance editor and in artist management.
