Doom/Sludge/Black Metal

Extreme Doom spawning from Scandinavia. Black/death metal in a sludge realm. Sonic chaos and gritty, filthy vocals. Long hair and leather vests, covered in beards and tattoos - pure celebration of life and happiness, beer drinking and partying.

KATLA is a three-piece from Denmark, formed in 2018 in Copenhagen. The trio quickly gained a following in the underground scene and grew very fast, both with shows, touring and releases. Katla has since played G! Festival in the Faroe Islands, Copenhell, Wacken Open Air, toured all over Denmark, and supported Baest, Konvent and others.
