After almost three years of work, the band released their second album Im Blau in 2023. Extensive arrangements, densely produced and certainly due to the early twenties, deeply soaked in images of urban isolation and longing. This was followed by an extensive tour, a sold-out first edition, Tocotronic support and, above all, the desire to continue straight away: Just one year after the release, Jan Breier, Matthias Fugel, Florian Stepper and Oliver Hauber moved to Tobias Siebert and Annette Hermann's enchanted hermitage/studio "Küsselhof" for two weeks to create new music in the sheer endless expanse of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, freed from old ideas and notions. The ideas were to be captured immediately, and they found themselves in the finest studio environment so that the production could be completed straight away.

The result was the record Wüste. Where before there was room for every idea, here everything is reduced. Instead of rich instrumentation and overdubs, Wüste features the live band Kaufmann Frust, supplemented here and there by a Fender Rhodes, otherwise drums, guitar, bass and vocals.

The songs will be presented live for the first time tonight ahead of their release next spring.
