Shakespeare's tragedy of Richard III retold: Two high houses, the extended Arab families York and Lancaster, have taken the war from the streets of Berlin to the courtroom.

Five years after his furious adaptation of "Berlin Alexanderplatz", Burhan Qurbani returns with a directorial work that completely reinterprets William Shakespeare's "Richard III" and relocates it to the Berlin of today. Atmospherically dense, intensely thematic, visually austere and with precisely honed dialog, Kein Tier. So Wild. leads us into a world that seems familiar and yet is strange and alien: right into the middle of a relentless war between two families of Arab descent, in which the youngest daughter of one of them brutally and regardless of losses makes her way to the top through intrigue and murder - only to pay a high price in the end.
