Become a heart rescuer:
In the event of cardiac arrest, but also in other life-threatening emergencies, every second and minute counts. Until the emergency services arrive, the lives of those affected depend on spontaneous and courageous first aiders. According to estimates by the German Society for Anaesthesiology & Intensive Care Medicine (DGAI), around 10,000 people could be saved every year if more laypeople started resuscitation before the emergency services arrived.
The employees of Malteser Hilfsdienst e.V. now offer all interested parties - including children and young people - a pure "cardiac resuscitation training course" in which all participants learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
