Goodbye DUQO! 🥲

We are looking forward to our next event on March 15 at DUQO with a smile and a tear in our eye. On the one hand, we're looking forward to our first event there, but on the other hand we're also sad because it will also be our last. Like far too many nightclubs before it, DUQO will unfortunately have to close at the end of March.

Rising costs, gentrification and the densification of living space are forcing clubs to close again and again. While traditional cultural institutions such as theaters, museums and concert halls are protected by the state, clubs are often left out in the cold. The cultural significance of clubs for subcultures and marginalized groups is underestimated. Yet it is precisely here that art, cultural and political events are often held.

For this reason, we are dedicating this evening to the topic of club death. In other words, in addition to the classic techno party, there will be a supporting program consisting of speeches and a panel discussion that will deal with this topic and shed light on it from different perspectives. So you can either come to the supporting program or the party - it's up to you. You can find all information about the supporting program here.

Club death concerns us all. Let's take a stand together for the cohesion of the club scene.
