Kerk und Baend - Kölsche Rock Musik

In the organizer's words:

Kerk und Baend is a Kölsch rock band led by singer and lyricist Oliver Kerk.

The first musical attempts took place in the nineties as a cover band. They played all kinds of music, with a lot of passion and above all loudly.

Later, the band discovered the ability to write their own songs in the Cologne language. Over the years, they developed an extensive repertoire ranging from rock songs to touching ballads in the beloved "kölschen Sproch".

Musically, Kerk und Baend are independent and varied. No image is served here, but the basic principle is: honest and genuine! The lyrics deal with topics such as friendship, love and transience, and there are also some little stories with a wink. From loud to very quiet - just like life itself!
