In his new program, Martin Rassau and Bernhard Ottinger take on a particularly neglected species: the suffering man! As the title promises, it's all about men and we know that they can sometimes be real wimps! Especially when it comes to illness. Especially when they are among themselves: on a cure, for example!

Of course, everything comes in top fashionable packaging, just the way you like to wear it at a spa: from designer Nordic walking outfits to classic blue and yellow outfits in colorful balloon silk. From high blood pressure and slipped discs to athlete's foot - hardly any topic is really left out. You can suffer along and laugh heartily - until the healing begins... You can feel like you're at the spa!

Having passed the age of 50 himself, the Franconian comedian knows exactly what he's talking about: just in the middle of your life and then it starts: the first ailments, high blood pressure, a slipped disc. Suddenly you find yourself in rehab among all the other sufferers such as Gallen-Günther and Fettleber-Franz. There the battle continues: who has to take more pills, who has the prettier therapist, who's diet is working... In between, the longing for the younger years, when everything was better!

Strange thoughts keep popping into Martin Rassau 's head. Even the smallest everyday occurrences lead him to parodic pleasure in a Franconian, snotty manner. As a stand-up comedian, he dwells on what he does best and what characterizes him as the archetype of his fellow countrymen: grumbling. "Honey, what if I die tomorrow?" - "Saturday! Nothing is sacred to him, he can get stuck on things big and small to turn them into a hilarious scene or a sharp potpourri.

Next to him is the next patient: Bernhard Ottinger, dry as dust, sober and down-to-earth. As a Franconian cab driver (known from Bavarian television's "foolish wine tasting") on a health cure, he jokes his way through the treatment levels. But whatever he talks about in cultivated Franconian, he always remains funny and infects the audience with inimitable fun. And everything is as dryly funny as only a Franconian can be. In the end, nobody can resist his charm!

Rassau and Ottinger throw in the pills for the audience - but then everyone feels the effect for themselves! The old adage "Laughter is healthy!" applies here!
