KESSEL FESTIVAL

The Kessel Festival is Stuttgart's festival for everyone. Away from Stuttgart's high culture, the organizers and partners of the Kessel Festival are once again creating a 170,000 m² action platform for the city of Stuttgart and the region. The fusion of music, sport, culture and sustainability creates a special backdrop for visitors of all ages at the Cannstatter Wasen. Top international stars from the music scene on the main stage, young musicians on the young talent stage, sports and fun sports areas to watch and participate in as well as an interactive children's and family program, the day after tomorrow market on the topic of sustainability and a contemporary culinary offer make the Kessel Festival an absolute summer highlight in Stuttgart for young and old. The Kessel Festival is the innovative, annually recurring, central meeting place with a connection to the region. In June 2023, the Kessel Festival celebrated its third edition with 65,000 visitors.

MUSIC

Look forward to national and international artists on the main stage and palace tent stage, up-and-coming musicians on the culture stage and numerous DJs of different genres throughout the festival grounds.

SPORTS

In addition to live music, visitors will be offered an extensive and interactive sports program. From international world-class competitions, numerous activities by renowned (ball) sports clubs, skateboarding and football to stand-up paddling on the Neckar. There is plenty to marvel at and much more to try out for yourself.

CHILDREN AND FAMILY

From the baby meadow with padded crawling area, changing station and breastfeeding corner, handicraft paradise, reading lounge, hands-on circus and airbrush tattoos, to the dressing-up booth, children's make-up station, hula-hoop, children's workshop and jewelry station and numerous creative stations to the relaxation oasis with plenty of space for the whole family to settle down.

DAY AFTER TOMORROW MARKET

As a practical platform for sustainable consumption and lifestyle, the Übermorgen Markt takes on the task of bringing together different players such as start-ups, retailers, manufacturers and initiatives with society in one place. Simply and honestly, in direct dialog with each other. Instead of just offering consumer goods, it shows possibilities for a sustainable lifestyle. Sustainability you can touch and try out.

GASTRONOMY

Mobile cookshops and food trucks with cuisine from all over the world form a colorful marketplace. The culinary delights on offer range from falafel to vegetarian sandwiches, juicy burgers, organic bratwurst, hand bread and classic coffee and cake. Be inspired and feast your way through the pots and pans of the world and the region. In the circus tent, 16 young winegrowers from Stuttgart and the Rems Valley will be serving their handmade wines.
