Speaker: Dr. Thomas Hollmann, Clinical Associate Professor of Marketing, Arizona State University

Thomas Hollmann lives and teaches in Arizona. In his research, he deals intensively with artificial intelligence - especially with its practical applications in companies, from medium-sized businesses to DAX corporations.

He regularly travels to Germany to talk to representatives from business, science and politics: Where do we stand when it comes to AI? Where are we in danger of falling behind - and where might there even be opportunities to take on a pioneering role?

About the Hafen Leader Session

The Hafen Leader Session is a digital lunchtime format for entrepreneurs, managers and decision-makers. In a compact 60 minutes, experts from business, science and politics provide insights into current developments - from artificial intelligence and digitalization to transformation and leadership.

The format originated from the exchange between Düsseldorf companies in the Medienhafen, who regularly met at the Synnous office during their lunch break to talk about topics that are currently on their minds. During Corona, we didn't want to give up this exchange - and continued the format digitally. Today, we reach people from all over Germany and beyond who use their lunch break to get new ideas on topics that are relevant to their work and decisions.
