Kiel kann Catwalk

In the organizer's words:

This year, the city center will once again attract fashion fans and fashionistas to the catwalk. In the middle of Asmus-Bremer-Platz, Kiel-Marketing and FAEX from Berlin will present several shows by local fashion companies as well as international designers from the slow fashion sector.

Review 2024

With the fashion show, the district around Asmus underlines its strengths in terms of fashion expertise and sustainability. The other districts also presented their fashion and lifestyle gems. From 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., the shows were accompanied by a colorful program for the whole family.

The co-organizer FAEX has been successfully organizing similar events in cities such as Bremen and Freiburg since 2019. In Freiburg, 140 local tradespeople recently took part in the Fashion Days there.

Before the first fashion show, there was join-in music for children with Liederlukas. Hosted by fashion journalist and stylist Luisa Verfürth, the models from Kiel and the surrounding area wowed the audience with beautiful creations from various local labels, from second-hand to tailor-made garments. In between, the Grenke dance school and SportTempel Kiel provided a good atmosphere and then it was back to the catwalk. The fashion show was rounded off with wedding dresses from Braut trifft Kleid and a short musical finale with Liza & Schleicher.
