On the four Thursdays in June 2025, the Kiezsalon music series will be hosted at MINSK for the first time.
Rooted in Berlin, the nomadic format regularly changes venues and has been bringing musicians of all kinds to the stage for ten years. The events often feature new discoveries or local concert premieres by up-and-coming international acts, bringing them together in an exciting contrast. For founder and curator Michael Rosen, the constant adaptability and interest in all directions between pop and avant-garde is just as important as creating a space for socializing and exchange for a diverse audience in the sense of a salon culture. Perfectly in keeping with the history and spirit of MINSK!
The Kiezsalon is also characterized by its clear dramaturgy: admission begins 60 minutes before the first concert, each concert lasts 30 minutes, with half-hour breaks between the acts and an open finale.
Specially selected wines are served - a DJ plays on the roof terrace before, in between and afterwards and invites you to linger.
The Kiezsalon is a project by Digital in Berlin. Curated by Michael Rosen and in cooperation with the MINSK Kunsthaus in Potsdam. Presented by The Wire and taz, die tageszeitung.
