KIND OF DUSK describes a transition. From the tangible to the abstract. From neoclassical to avant-garde sound production. From the acoustic to the electronic.

The project by Berlin-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Lukas Streich creates organic collages of intimate piano sounds, innovative production approaches and folk-inspired melodies. Centered around the calm pole of the prepared piano, a musical and lyrical confrontation with one's own person in a frozen society in the change of times and generations is created. A wavering between the new and the familiar, alienation and rapprochement; the risk of breaking with familiar patterns and creating new structures, constructs and compositions.

Ólafur Arnalds and JFDR, Hania Rani and Dobrawa Czocher, Tara Nome Doyle and Federico Albanese - the intersection of neoclassical and electronic music with emotional, modern vocals is a stirring, poignant place.
