The open-air season is here - and we're celebrating with a family block party.

On Saturday we invite you to return to the Desi Diner - this time with a street party on a closed side street right next to the restaurant.

Look forward to electronic sounds, relaxed vibes and plenty of space to play, dance and enjoy. As always, there will also be delicious South Asian street food, creative children's activities and a great atmosphere.

What you can expect

*House and techno sets from DJ parents

*Crafting fun and games from Kids Be Creative

*Face painting for children with Pivipainting and crew

*Plenty of space to run around: skateboards, balance bikes, chalk - all welcome

*Creative South Asian food concepts for children and adults

*An all-day block party feeling for the whole family

Location

The Block Party takes place on the car-free side street next to the restaurant - safe and ideal for children. Access only via the main entrance of Desi Diner. After entering, turn right out onto the street.

The area outside offers plenty of space for anything that wants to roll or be painted. Feel free to bring anything that fits into a cool outdoor environment!

To help us plan, please reserve your tickets in advance. You can book them directly via Eventbrite.

To compensate our artists fairly and make the event possible, we ask for a voluntary donation of €12 per adult (€22 for two). Children are free!

Tickets are also available at the box office - subject to availability. Suggested donation at the door: €14 per adult (€25 for two).

Please note: No cash payment is possible on site. Payment at the box office is by card or PayPal.

Housekeeping

The Kinder Rave has come a long way since our beginnings in 2022. What started as a small group of parents has now grown into an event that we could never have imagined.

To ensure that the Kinder Rave remains a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we ask all parents to look after their children and also keep an eye on the safety and well-being of other children. Our community thrives on strong togetherness and we hope that this will continue in the future.

At the same time, we would like to remind you that every family is ultimately responsible for the behavior of their own children (parents are liable for their children). Thank you for your understanding.

[WELCOME TO OUTDOOR SEASON!]

Welcome to outdoor season! To kick off the best time of year in Berlin, we're returning to Desi Diner for a Family Block Party in an enclosed side street next to the restaurant.

Join us for groovy electronic music, open air vibes, and delicious South Asian fusion cuisine served up by our friends at Desi Diner.

We'll also have you covered with plenty of outdoor activities to keep the kids busy. Families are encouraged to bring anything you feel would contribute to the vibe!

Location

Desi Diner is a canteen-style restaurant space with a giant private street nextdoor that is closed to traffic on the weekends. The Block Party will take place in the side street, with only one entrance through the restaurant, providing an ideal location for kids to freely and safely run around.

The outdoor space is big enough to accommodate skateboards, balance bikes, scooters, chalk etc. Please feel free to bring anything you think would be ideal for an outdoor paved environment :-)

Check-in will be through the main restaurant entrance. Once you come through the doors, the entry to the side street will be through the doors on your right.

Please note: to fairly compensate our performers and support the work of our organizers, we encourage all attendees to the Kinder Rave to make a voluntary donation of €12 per adult (€22 for two). Kids are free!

In order to maintain a safe and positive experience for everyone at the Kinder Rave, we would like to remind parents to please keep an eye on your kids, while also looking out for the safety and well-being of children around you. We have always had a very strong culture of looking after each other in this community, and we hope this will continue!
