Kinderbuch-Release & Ausstellung: Boah, was für ein Fahrrad!?

In the organizer's words:

From March 20 to 23, 2025, the Ladøns gallery in Hamburg's Gängeviertel district will be transformed into a meeting place for creative bicycle culture. Inspired by the subculture of self-built bikes, the exhibition combines imaginative illustrations with original installations - to coincide with the release of the children's book "Boah, was für ein Fahrrad!?" by Caspar David Engstfeld (also known by the artist name Krashkid). The book is bursting with imagination - just like the accompanying exhibition.

What can you expect?
- Original illustrations from the book
- Large-format Riso prints
- A bicycle installation that invites you to explore
- Workshop for children on Saturday from 2 pm: painting fantasy bikes together

The story behind the book:
Loki wants to build herself a bike - but not just any bike. On her journey through the neighborhood, she meets people with the most extraordinary and creative companions. This story is about community, inventiveness and the joy of DIY. Because every bike is unique - just like its riders.
