Children's theater by Paul Maar at balou

Brackel. On Sunday, October 6, the balou cultural center will present the Trotz-Alledem-Theater (TAT) from Bielefeld with the play "Kikerikiste", Paul Maar's first play for children , at 3:00 pm .

The theater has developed the play into a timeless classic of children's theater and has been performed internationally ever since. In the TAT's new production, his play is transformed into a parable about friendship, seduction and reconciliation that promises to be both fun and thought-provoking for audiences of all generations.

About the play: Bartholomew and Kümmel, who live in two boxes, are really close friends. They actually like each other, but they are constantly competing over whose box is bigger, prettier or more colorful. They are constantly getting on each other's nerves. Suddenly, a music marcher with a big drum appears completely unexpectedly and invades their familiar world. He tries to play the two friends off against each other in order to get his hands on their crates.

The two squabblers fall for it, swap their boxes for the timpani, and in the end have to realize that they have been tricked. But can their friendship survive?
