For this special concert, trumpeter Jakob Bänsch, who was awarded the German Jazz Prize for his debut album last year and tours throughout Germany and Europe under his own name, has put together a special line-up of his absolute favorite musicians from the Cologne scene. Oliver Lutz is currently shaping the international fusion jazz scene with his band Re:Calamari, Leon Hattori is increasingly making a name for himself as an excellent composer and pianist and Hendrik Smock can adorn his brilliant sideman career with names such as Randy Brecker, Yvonne Catterfeld and Charlie Mariano.
