After their fantastic show last year, we are delighted to welcome the band back.

KING HANNAH's amalgam of dream-pop, Americana, slow-core and dark David Lynch-like soundscapes has probably struck a chord with the times, even though - or perhaps because - their sound often sounds like an echo of times gone by. With their debut "I'm Not Sorry, I Was Just BeingMe", the British King Hannah achieved indie fame virtually overnight, which also led them to the actual heartland of their sound on their subsequent extensive tours. Their sound is associated with a mythical American landscape through which they stroll together with Bill Callahan/Smog, the Red House Painters, Mazzy Star and Bruce Springsteen's StateTrooper. But images of dark city clubs filled with the feedback of a shoegaze band, the magic of Portishead and early PJ Harvey also flare up in their sound. Their sparsely orchestrated songs are works full of darkness and wit, hypnotizing and captivating in equal measure. Their new album "Big Swimmer" will be released shortly, on which Sharon Van Etten even contributes vocals on two songs. It remains exciting to see how the journey of this great band will continue.
