Kino Weltsichten: Vika!

In the organizer's words:

A film that celebrates life and shows that it is still possible to break new ground and experience adventure in old age.

Vika is 85 years old and a star in the music scene. She has worked as a prison educator and raised her children. After retiring, she started doing only what she is passionate about: Music and her gigs as a DJ in the nightclubs of Warsaw. No more conforming to the expectations of others. For the first time in her life, Vika is living her dream.

Recommended for ages 14 and up.

The film will be shown in the original language (Polish) with German subtitles.

Understanding, openness and coming into contact with people of different nationalities and origins are the motifs for the film series Kino Weltsichten. People with and without an international history, women with refugee experience, their families and anyone interested in excellent, often rarely shown international films directed by women are cordially invited.
