Feminist short and feature film program with a shared meal

On May 18, the Kinotrop project invites you to the Filmhaus Köln - to watch films together, share a meal and have an open exchange. Join us for a conversation about the stories on the screen, about us as an audience and about what cinema can be today. The feminist film program is dedicated to questions of visibility and invisibility, the movement and presence of bodies in public space, the testing of solidary practices and the power of the (cinematic) gaze. The event will be accompanied by an exhibition in which photographs and audio excerpts from conversations about the cinema of tomorrow will inspire further reflection.

Kinotrop sees itself as a repair laboratory that wants to question cinema as a place of collective experience and test new forms of togetherness.
