KIOSK SESSION // SALO Quartett

In the organizer's words:

Consisting of four female musicians, SALO (lat. surf) enriches the local music scene with its waves of changeable sound. In addition to a very close and sensitive interplay, the expansion of the string quartet repertoire is one of the most important components of the ensemble's work together. SALO is dedicated to the performance of exclusively FLINTA* composers and thus gives seemingly unheard-of creators of the past as well as contemporary greats their well-deserved place in the classical scene.

SALO means daring, movement, turbulence and calm, search and determination.
