Kiosk Tanz // Afrikanische Tänze mit Aikins Hyde

In the organizer's words:

Music and dance are deeply rooted forms of expression in African culture. These artistic forms of expression act as an important connection to the gods, to nature, to the ancestors and to the community. African dance is ritual, healing, celebration and prayer all at the same time. In the workshop with Aikins Hyde, an experienced dancer and choreographer, participants experience how rhythmic movements from the center of the body, grounding through the feet and authentic expression open up new sources of energy. Every step, every impulse is a conversation with the earth - a call that is heard.
The workshop is aimed at all people, regardless of previous experience or age, who are interested in meeting themselves in dance, experiencing the shared rhythm and experiencing the power of African rhythms physically and spiritually.
