Kiosque Pixel Pop-Up Gallery

During Berlin Art Week, Google Pixel opens the"Kiosque Pixel" - a unique pop-up gallery. There, artist Julian Klincewicz (*1995, Los Angeles) presents his first solo exhibition"Encyclopedia of Now" in Germany.

Julian, who is known for his analog style, takes a new approach in this series and photographs with the Google Pixel 9 Pro. Embracing the immediacy and accessibility of smartphone photography marks a conscious shift in his artistic practice, turning the Pixel into a creative medium in its own right.

During a road trip through Eastern Europe, Julian documented his experiences with spontaneity, curiosity and an open mind. Together, these images form a visual diary, a living sketchbook, an Encyclopedia of Now that captures the essence of the present moment through his unique lens - vivid, unfiltered and deeply human, blurring the lines between the extraordinary and the ordinary.

In addition to the exhibition, the entire body of work is available as a photo book, produced in collaboration with Munich-based publisher Sorry Press. The photo book Encyclopedia of Now is not available in stores, but if you are one of the first 100 visitors to Kiosque Pixel, you have the chance to get one for free.
