There's no place like Cologne
The audience embarks on a journey through Cologne dialect literature from Wilhelm Koch and Wilhelm Schneider-Clauß to Lis Böhle and Jean Jenniches to Gustav Hamacher and Karl-Heinz Nagelschmidt, under the motto "Et geiht nirgends doller zo wie ze Kölle".
And this motto is not only valid in our hometown during the carnival season. Whether in the family, e.g. at lunch, when "De Spargelzupp" is served or "Speck met Goldschnett", whether among neighbors who like to call each other by nicknames, such as "Der Nossbaum-Schmitz", whether in heaven, where the Lord God has to deal with an "Engels-Ordeil" or in fairy tales, where everything gets mixed up in the "Märchestund", nowhere does it go better than in Kölle!
The music is not neglected either. Philipp Oebel presents an entertaining program with Cologne songs to sing along to!
