Concert by Hannover Voices and the Big Band of the Käthe Kollwitz School

The joint concert by Hannover Voices and the Big Band of the Käthe Kollwitz School unites outstanding talents from the city to create a special musical treat for the audience.
For the first time, the powerful-voiced singers of Hannover Voices will perform together with the award-winning big band of the Käthe Kollwitz School, which has made a name for itself as the "Best Big Band in Lower Saxony" since winning the Lower Saxony Orchestra Competition 2024. Under the direction of Michael Thiemann, both ensembles present a mixture of pop, swing, soul and elements of world music.

Hannover Voices promotes the vocal talents of young singers and is a cooperation project between the Hanover State Opera and singer Ayda Kırcı under the sponsorship of Diakonisches Werk Hannover gGmbH.
The concert is sponsored by the Cultural Office of the City of Hanover and is part of the celebrations to mark the tenth anniversary of the UNESCO City of Music title.
