Every sound has a unique quality: a so-called timbre. It gives the music its specific character and allows us to distinguish not only between instruments and voices, but also between musical styles and performers. Markus Tillier, Fionn Bockmühl, Wolfgang Düthorn and Alexander Richtberg are cellists with the SWR Symphony Orchestra, and together with the orchestra's music educator, Jasmin Bachmann, they take their young audience on a journey of discovery through the world of timbre. They mix different musical eras in a colorful way and invite you to join in!
