The piano duo Heidemarie Wiesner & John D. McNabb unites two internationally renowned artistic personalities whose joint concerts inspire through stylistic diversity, technical sophistication and lively musicality. The German pianist Wiesner, known for her innovative concert formats and her international career as a soloist, chamber musician and improviser, meets the American pianist McNabb, who performs throughout Europe with acclaimed programs such as "All Gershwin" and the Scarlatti Madness festival. Together they create impressive programs that take the audience on a musical journey from baroque sonorities to expressive modernism.

Their repertoire includes works by Scarlatti, Mozart, Schubert, Brahms and Debussy as well as compositions by Gershwin, Ravel and Ligeti. Particularly noteworthy are her sensitive interpretations of impressionistic and contemporary works as well as her spontaneous, dialogical playing style.

Their interplay is characterized by subtle interpretation and inspiring communication. In addition to the stage, they are also active as teachers and run the Montepulciano International Music Course for master classes, improvisation and cultural exchange.
