The evening will be opened by HEMSING (Lasse Hemsing), a composer and pianist from Hamburg who now lives in Paris.
HEMSING enjoys composing and draws inspiration from various musical genres. In his solo work, he succeeds in finding a seamless blend of contemporary neoclassical and experimental ambient music.
The second part of the evening will be performed by Andrew Keese. He is a composer, pianist and multi-instrumentalist whose music combines rich neo-classical piano with ambient and post-rock soundscapes. He lives and works in Melbourne/Naarm, Australia.
His music has been compared to Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds, George Winston, Radiohead, Atticus Ross, Pauline Oliveros and Brian Eno.
To mark the release of his album "Illuminator" in 2025, Keese will embark on a European promotional tour, performing in Germany and at Erica Synth's "Erica's Garage" showcase in Latvia, before playing a headline show at the Arvo Pärt Centre Concert Hall in Estonia on Saturday, August 9, 2025.
