Vadim Valyaev was born in 1992 in Kabardino-Balkaria, Russia, and began piano lessons at the age of 8. In 2009, he received a scholarship for young talented musicians from the M. Rostropovich Foundation in Moscow.
In 2011, Vadim was accepted to the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow,
where he studied piano with Eliso Virsaladze and chamber music with Alexander Bonduriansky. In 2015 he moved to Valencia, Spain, to continue his studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música "Joaquín Rodrigo" with Marisa Blanes Nadal. In 2023, Vadim completed his master's degree at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne under the direction of Fabio Bidini.
Vadim is a prizewinner of several competitions, including 1st prize at the National Piano Competition "Young Pianists" in Nalchik, Russia, 2nd prize at the International Competition "Fermata" in Moscow and 3rd prize at the Piano Competition "Amparo Fandos" in Torrent, Spain.
He is currently active both as a concert pianist and as a teacher. He regularly performs solo and chamber music programs at various concert venues in Europe and Asia. He has performed at venues such as the Palau de les Artes in Valencia (Spain), the concert halls of the Moscow Conservatory and the Teatro La Nuova Fenice in Osimo (Italy). He has also performed at festivals such as the Valencia International Performance Academy & Festival (Spain) and the Moon International Piano Festival in Jávea.
