Music theater and puppet theater merge in this imaginatively told story for people aged 5 and up. Everyday life becomes an adventure and the city park becomes a stage.

The development of this play idea began with "Schmidtis Kinderlieder", which empower children, meet them at eye level and talk to them about the world. Director and overall artist Roscha A. Säidow selected nine songs from "Schmidtis Kinderlieder" for Braunschweig's children. Philipp Rohmer arranged these songs for musicians from the Staatstheater Braunschweig while Roscha continued to work on a story that connects these nine songs. The result is Wünsche and Feisel. As Wünsche, Juliane Dennert follows Klein Kurt and turtle Erna through a very special day with Rainer Mesecke as Feisel. It's the other way around. What begins as a completely normal morning in the city park is suddenly turned upside down. Just as Erna the tortoise sits down in the clover and waits for her friend Little Kurt to turn the corner, everything goes quiet. Little Kurt is not coming. This is off to a good start.

Juliane Dennert has already appeared on stage in "knistern knuspern rauschen" for the youngest audience at the Staatstheater Braunschweig. In the role of the maestro, Philipp Rohmer integrates the orchestra into the play. The result is a musical theater for children that brings a good portion of warmth into the world in a humorous and charming way.
