The small room concert is a monthly format at the Neue Apotheke where artists from very different genres present their songs away from the big stages in a relaxed and personal living room atmosphere.

On Friday, May 9, Deer Anna and the duo Isabelle Saadat and Josie Malou will be playing. Admission is at 19:30.

Deer Anna is a Hamburg artist who creates dreamy soundscapes with her emotional indie pop. Her music is characterized by a deep sensitivity that inspires reflection and opens up spaces full of warmth and understanding. With her artistic oeuvre, Deer Anna manages to establish a profound connection with her audience, which is characterized by emotionality and a special aesthetic. The young artist has already performed live on the stages of the Reeperbahn Festival and MS Dockville and has opened for TORRES and Alice Boman.

Isabelle Saadat and Josie Malou have each found their own unique sound in their solo projects and are now uniting their music in an exciting way. Their international sound is characterized by experimental indie rock guitar sounds and an intense exploration of interpersonal encounters in all their facets. The set includes songs that were composed independently of each other and have now been rearranged.

The two artists first met by chance on a street corner in Portugal. Three years later, they are on stage together. A spontaneous encounter developed into a creative collaboration that is far more than just a mixture of their styles.
