Workshop with the KAP Institute

In this course, we will teach you the basics of via ferrata climbing, point out possible unexpected difficulties and give you tips on tour planning and emergency equipment. Of course, there will also be plenty of fun: we will conquer exciting passages together, experience the joy of moving in the great outdoors and strengthen the group dynamic. After a theoretical briefing, we enjoy the beautiful landscape of Hersbrucker Schweiz together and master various stages of the "Höhenglücksteig" via ferrata.

Please bring your own equipment:

• Your own food and drinks (unbreakable)
• Drinks (no glass bottles)
• Personal first aid kit (emergency medication, plasters, etc.)
• Comfortable casual clothing
• Sturdy shoes (e.g. light trekking shoes)
• Small daypack
• Helmet, climbing harness, via ferrata set (can be hired on site for a fee)
• Light gloves if necessary

Rental equipment is available (helmet 5,- € / climbing harness with extra sling and carabiner 5,- € / via ferrata set 10,- €)
